It’s not possible to say K-pop and finish the sentence without mentioning BTS in the same breath. BTS is arguably THE most popular K-pop group around the globe, and not without reason. Considered one of this generation’s most popular K-pop acts, every song Blackpink has released went on to be a massive hit. Every K-pop groupie around the world have been touched by these amazing nine girls, catching the eye with their signature youthful soul, vibrant and fun songs and videos. In many ways, its credit to Girls’ Generation that K-pop is even a global phenomenon now and fans still shed a tear having heard their electro-bubblegum sound mature with time and the girls turn to women right in front of their eyes. Cotroceni Palace This palace has a fascinating history. It began as a monastery in the 17th century, after which it became the summer residence of King Carol I. Constructed from 1888-93 at the behest of Romania's first king, Carol I, Cotroceni Palace has since 1991 been the official residence of the Romanian President. Built on the site of a former monastery (the foundations and cellars of which remain, and form part of the tour of the palace), the palace was designed by a French team of architects, led by Paul Gottereau.
