5.     Cosplay – A portmanteau of costume play, cosplay continues to remain one of the key buzzwords for Japan, and nowhere is this more apparent than Tokyo’s Akhihabara district. Video game, manga and anime aficionados will be over the moon when coming into contact with the painstaking detail and effort that goes into cosplay, as actors mimic the look and sound of characters in popular media.
